Where does the underlying data come from?

Everything comes from public data that anyone can access. Financials come from the financial statements in annual reports filed with DART, Korea's regulatory disclosure system operated by the Financial Supervisory Service; market prices come from the Financial Services Commission's open-data API, using the latest confirmed figures. No paid or private data is used at all.
Because the sources are public, users can verify every number Maegim shows against the original filing — which is why each indicator on a stock page links to the DART document it came from. When a corrected filing is submitted, the next scoring run picks it up automatically.
